August 25th. If it's good luck to have rain on your wedding day, it must be EXTRA lucky to have a tornado! We heard the sirens from the golf course at Muirfield just as Natalie & Scott's umbrella turned inside out. Fortunately the storms didn't last long, and we were able to get some shots afterward ... the light was absolutely beautiful. Natalie, founder of the Dance Cure, a Columbus troupe, taught us all how to do the Tarantella at the reception. What a fun night! Check out the Dance Cure's website for upcoming performances at

Despite the hot weather, we had a great day at Franklin Park with Jen and AJ on the 12th. The flowers by Janna Coe were so lush and vibrant ... perfect for summer. We're glad you got back from Mexico before the storms!
Dave and Amy had a beautiful day for their wedding on the 11th at First Congregational Church. The sunset from North Bank Pavilion was incredible, and the Columbus skyline made a perfect backdrop for the party. We loved the paper lanterns and the beautiful jewelry made by Amy's Dad.
When Jake asked Stefanie to marry him, they first had dinner at Hyde Park on the Cap, then took a walk to Goodale Park. After finding the perfect bench, Jake proposed on one knee and the rest is history. Last night we retraced their steps, albeit in reverse. If the two of you look this great for your engagement shoot, we can't wait to see you on your wedding day!
Yesterday we spent the morning at Franklin Park with new moms Anne and Amy. Their little guy, Phinneaus, was quite the charmer!
